"Roxy"

This portrait (Graphite on paper) is a tribute to Roxy, a beloved companion whose presence brought warmth and unconditional love to my mother's life. with every delicate pencil stroke, I sought to capture not just her likeness, but the deep spirit and loyalty that made her so special. Her gentle eyes reflect a soul full of devotion, while the familiar bandana (babushka) evokes the countless moments of comfort and companionship she shared with our family. Roxy was more than just a pet, she was a source of unwavering love, a quiet guardian, and a best friend. Through this drawing I hope to preserve her memory, honoring the joy and deep connection she brought into our lives. Though she may no longer be physically with us, her spirit remains ever-present, etched in our hearts.
